My new babies
A cute wee bunch of kids born last night. TWELVE!!!! I can't beleive it. My biggest litter in 25 years. Please dont look at the hack clipping, when you are clipping mum off for a litter - utility is all, I will nuture her feathering back in coming months. I hope to have her back in the show ring by November latest.
and thanks Donna ( I think - my printout deleted your name) for the photo instructions - which i finally managed to follow.
Cheers
Jan

Re: My new babies
Yup, tell me about it. Though I am pretty well set up. Bubs can go outside from 4 weeks (or when they are mobile) into an enclosed bark area, which saves that siutuation when you go out there in the morning and their is sh... from high way to heaven. I have been there and it is not nice.
I like the bark, not too hard on the limbs and one can pick up the poo and anything attached to it, they can chew it without an issue. Plus the rain runs through. I get out there with my watercan and disinfectants - but so very easy.
Well yeah previously it was with 6-7. Friggen heck - i am still getting over the 12 business.
Thanks for your nice wishes everyone - Layla and bubs continue to thrive

Well done! 12 poor Mumma dog.
They look like spotty little cows, how gorgeous.
What sort of bark do you use in the runs?

Wow they have grown. Aren't they just gorgeous. Everyone seems to be doing very well.
Alot harder to find the 12 bums now Jan, Lol lol.
You must be busy with these guys and study as well as new business???
We will have to keep an eye on, that one glass at dinner, that it doesn't put you to sleep

Re: My new babies
You are right Sarah, i am buggered. Every weekend for the past eight - and another two to go. Plus all the assignments. my last day of Australian classes coincides with the dinner!! Just fold me up in a corner Then just the Vet College stuff to finish - and boy are they finniticky. I have done several qualifications at Varsity, but the science school is the tops for being pedantic. What does it matter if the referencing is in bold instead of italics!!!!
I generally have a groom to do after most weekend classes.
I have stopped advertising so business has slowed down - which is what i wanted, but then the rebooks will start soon, hell i would be whinging if it there was nothing happening. I have also been lucky enough to score exclusive (so far) referrals from a new vet clinic, right place, right time . They have asked me if i will do "vet referred clips"- ie - the manky ones!! I said "sure" in a bright tone!!
Look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks.

Re: My new babies
I can only see 10... is there the one that's always behind mum, and the one that's always trying to "get back inside"?
