woo hoo, whilst I am still inhibited by my study.
My young boy (8 months) went to the show today with his breeder. He was Best of Breed - beating multi Best In show winners and Grand champions. He then went on to win Best Puppy In Group and In show, this at a huge all breeds metropolitan show. He is not really yet a puppy (which is 9 months) I am just so very, very stoked - those who show dogs will appreciate the significance of this win.

Still floating

They are all well, eyes look just about to open, then my work starts as weaning will get underway early for obvious reasons.

The first very messy feed, they will get their shite together, but at three weeks it is a bit over whelming. A general invite is extended to all Melbourne based members who might want a puppy fix. It is really good for these guys to meet as many people as posible, so if anyone wants to drop in - I would love to see you, bring your friends.. Íts all right, all but one puppy is sold (i am keeping two) so I won't send you home with one!! I will just leave you to play, durable cloths and shoes required.

I live in Sunbury, my ph no is 0401 916 602. If you have never smelt puppy breath - it is devine, like a cross of baby powder with milk chocolate - I could smell them all day. i have one tucked inside my sweatshirt as I write - smell wafting up lol!

Andie, I have come up with a suitable punishment for your earlier comments about springers - on another thread!! You are hereby sentenced to feeding and depooping these guys for the next four weeks. geek

As long as I don't have to feed and clean bums how their mum would do it... then ok!!

I kept a dog and a bitch. The dog was probably the better, though his temperament was never up to it. The day i decided to pet him, he won Baby Puppy In Group. But I didn't change my mind. Now he is in the most divine home. I can almost quote from his new owner's email "I find flowers and rocks in my bed, my shoes are everywhers, a kilo of mince went missing, the bag was found in Fergus's bed - and i am loving every minute of it" . Nancy was a bit over shadowed by him, but did win Baby Puppy In Show at our specialty show over around a dozen other babies.

She has since won the challenge three times as Minor puppy, from big entries and has won two minor Puppy In Shows at big shows - very thrilled. Plus she is the sweetest natured dog, loves the play pool, beating up the puppies, annoying the adults etc etc.

I had a second litter last year - this time nine!! There can't be anything in the water as they drink natural tank water. Usually I have 5-6.

This litter makes their debut on Friday, I am really excited by their potential. The girl goes to Germany to a show home next month, which is a bit scary.

As one expecting a litter at the end of the month I really shouldn't be reading these posts....Certainly not showing them to partner...who arrived home with yet more "special food" for fussy chunky monkey Lily Rolling Eyes
