You know I can't help myself with names:
Loana Blonde Ambition call name Madonna
Find a suitable quote from Portia in The Merchant of Venice

Bring 'em on Tracy - you're better with names than I am!
Shirl, lots of people think six is too many, but they don't live on ten acres.......Having said that my house is pretty small. Lucky we spend a lot of time outside

I don't see why not if you love them, take care of them and meet all their needs.
Panda's so out numbered
Wish I can practice on your poodles. Lol.
One day I will have my terrier pack.

Panda is the boss She pees over everyone's pee, including mine!
I'm sure you'll have your terrier pack one day, Shirl.

Re: Fabulous Four thriving
padlock pit stop? what's that?
well you can train cats to go potty in real toilets.
so it made me wonder if dogs can do that... if you make an extra area for them so they can balance and squat in the hole.

Sorry Shirl - must be Australian slang I was trying to say nicely that if I am out on the farm and need to go potty I just get behind a tree - no-one can see us! That's how I know Panda will go and "mark" over me just like she does the other dogs

I go outside on the farm. It's getting warm out here so no frostbite .

Leia and Maiya update
I'm so glad I kept Leia - what a sweet animal....Took her and Maiya to the Brisbane Royal yesterday.....didn't do well but they went well for dogs that haven't been to a show for months and haven't been trained either!
Maiya was nervous initially but recovered well enough to have a go at a Bull Terrier in the afternoon .
Leia was very happy and energetic - lovely until I almost went base over apex in the ring and the woman behind me ran up her butt and upset her.....Does anyone know the correct show protocol for dealing with that? The judges don't intervene...and I couldn't go faster without running onto the dog in front of me.
Anyway didn't get many photos but here they are...
Resting after..
Poor Maiya didn't get her photo taken..but here's one just before...

So glad that Leia is such fun for you Merryl....You were brave to enter the Royal....Such long hours, traffic, no room to sit....people, people all around and a terrible ring....a good experience for your team though!!! Well done and I don't know what the protocol for the rude exhibiting is....been out ages and never experienced it before... Thanks for sharing. I went Saturday to see the whippets...it was packed....Numbers drastically down as all breeds are now....but still fun to watch

Re: Fabulous Four thriving
Thanks Jonna. I think all of the furkids on this site are cute too . When are ya coming to stay? . BTW I was out shopping today and got a call from Doug to say that ALL but one was MIA!!! Raced home and they had turned up, but all disgustingly filthy, so have done two, 5 to go......including Brooke's two. I guess that fence really does need to be replaced....as I have been saying for three years.....

Ha ha, not brave, just stupid . They have fixed things up a bit, to my surprise. The public can't touch your dog any more and there is room to have grooming tables up. There are a lot of people still and it is challenging for the dogs, but mine eventually went to sleep...
Maiya even decided to take on a bull terrier, from the safety of Doug's lap. It is an excellent opportunity to educate the public.I will contact the CCC about people running up on your dog and let you know.
