Hey Brooke, no problem! It was a nip for goodness sake. I do have to say that you warned me and I was just patting him, but I think his sight is a problem for him. Sorry I misspelt his name..sorry Maurie He has been a delight - full of fun and always ready for a game.) All of yours have been a total pleasure to have in our home. He was and still is a very beautiful dog with lots of attitude (which we truly do admire and enjoy) We just warn all of our visitors - "Beware - the bugger bites" BUT some have handled the little man and he's been fine - go figure.
He is a lovely little dog and brings us huge logs to throw for him - we are gobsmacked at his attitude. He is much admired and well.
We just love your gang!

mutleymanor wrote:Neither would I, but he is 13 and not mine, so we work around it. He is well behaved otherwise and nice with the other dogs.....Sadly, he would get more pats if he could be trusted.....
Oh Merryl I am so sorry he bit you He has got a strange little nature and he did try to bite us as a young dog but he has tried it very few times since But unfortunately he believes he can still put it over other people. Really he is just trying to get the point across that he maybe little but he is in no shape or form a lap dog.....................he wants to stay on all four feet and does not require carrying
This is Maurie in his younger less grey muzzled time...........he was about 6years old here.

Re: New Adventures...
I spoke to Brooke today and he just "wants to do his own thing" I wasn't game to bath him He's good for his owners so that's the main thing He doesn't give a warning and he's bloody quick for a 13 yr old, but it's only a nip anyway.

He is such a ham. I am gonna ask my nephew if he knows anyone in publishing. He is down by you Shirley. He is in teaching so he is kinda hooked up. I will FB him tomorrow, still got a killer stomach ache. Going to bed soon.

Re: New Adventures...
Hope your stomachache feels better.....
I should of shorten that vid cause I know it's a bit longer than usual... it's just amusing to watch him on slippery ice.
He like the breaking/crunchy feeling and try to dig few times.
Glad he's good enough that he won't just walk in too deep cause the ice's thin...
It was awsome that there's a path like that all the way through... cause usually it's quite muddy there.

Re: New Adventures...
Great pics and video as usual. I just LOVE Odie, he is so clever. Take care that he doesn't tear a cruciate ligament in his knee when playing on the ice.

Re: New Adventures...
Well he was careful and slowed himself on ice... Usually he would be running when I throw things.
We are tougher than we looks sometime.
He never seems to amaze me even though he's a special need.

Amazing photos, loved the one rock climbing, just to get him to do that is amazing, you must have such a bond! Wish you were over here have got a contact in acting dogs, he trained the pig in Babe, he would love to see your dogs. Never mind. Very enjoyable.

Re: New Adventures...
Vanda, would he have any contacts in the states? Might be worth a try... maybe, if Shiv is OK with it, email off a couple of pics?

Re: New Adventures...
you guys are too much. Yea if he wants to look at my pics and talk to me feel free.
I am not active into making Odie a star cause we are not really into the limelight to be honest but he could be a photographer's dream dog cause he does pose and do alot of crazy silly things naturally and makes people go .
We do have a very strong bond. And the fact that he's born deaf (and other issues) every trick that I taught him's sign language and we are very in tune with each other's body language.

Re: New Adventures...
You two really are a dream team He must watch your every move to be so in tune with you. I truly think you should both be in the limelight at least once. You are too special not to be shared
