Re: Clipper World
Love them - couldn't be more helpful with advice or sourcing products and great prices too. Pretty swift with postage as I'm not in their area. All round good service, highly recommended for products - and they sharpen too!

Re: Clipper World
Agreed, use them a lot. I only live 10 minutes away from them so they are very convenient and helpful as well.

Re: Clipper World
i had several problems with orders from Clipperworld ,going back a while. I'm afraid i got very fed up & frustrated with them, and ,well, burnt some bridges !
I do like some of their product range, and really would like to order...i'm afraid i did my dash though ?? It sounds like things have improved.

Re: Clipper World
Its never too late Tammy, I am sure they would love your business again. They have new premises now and working from a factory building which has been converted into showroom/storage etc. Its good, and they are always very friendly. Am off there again tomorrow, need scissors done and blades done. Being through some 7's lately as I have had some real matted messes.

Yeah Tammy, give them another go. BTW, I think they are selling the SS combs individually now... can someone confirm that?

Re: Clipper World
I loved them initially then gave up for a while when orders were mixed up but they were v good about fixing things after I emailed my concerns so I am back there. Friendly customer service for sure.

Re: Clipper World
Like Vanda, I have not had any problems. They have always been very friendly and helpful. I am fortunate that I also can go into their shop and deal directly with them. Most times if they don't have something in stock they will get it in for you.

Re: Clipper World
Weeeelllll, I still use them but they're on a rather short string and I STILL haven't got my a into g about getting onto the WW site, hence why i'm still using them. Yes, they are so lovely to deal with, yes their prices are great, to be able to email what I want and have it in the mail the next day is fantastic..... BUT, oh I hate those buts, the orders are seldom filled to my needs, I have to constantly chase up back orders and if i don't then I don't get them, to this day I owe them $380 for an order I have asked 3 times for an invoice for and still haven't received .... only because they are so lovely that I am still dealing with them, and every time I email them I bluntly tell them I can't run a business like this, then delete the email and start again with something vague and more politically correct, so really, watch this space but my patience level is fast running out.

Re: Clipper World
um ,this is why i am reluctant to go back to CW....yes lovely people....but not enough business-like for me!
I have outstanding debts with CW too,and its impossible for me to make payment on orders that were incomplete ,with NO invoice attached. After several attempts to get complete orders ,and more importantly INVOICES ,over more than a few orders ,i threw a tanty and gave up.
Now i know i have outstanding debts with them but its up to THEM to invoice me. I cant even remember what it was for or how much ,its been probably 18 months or more .
dont get me wrong ,they couldnt be nicer people, but i would prefer orders and invoices over chit chat when the chips are down.

Now i do not and have never dealt with CW however from a business point of view it is easier to keep track of where you are at if the people you deal with also operate in a business like manner......The bonus is when they are such lovely people to deal with which makes it a pleasant transaction

Re: Clipper World
Bless their hearts, they have sent me several orders without invoices and at one stage they wrote off a lot of money cos I was getting much more direct in my emails about backorders and lack of communication. I don't chase the invoices anymore as I doubt they would even remember the order. How they stay in business I don't know as they really have a lot of non-invoiced stock leaving but thankfully that is not my prob. Currently I have an order including Urine Free which has leaked thro the whole parcel ruining the packaging on the other items, no reply on my complaint email about that

Re: Clipper World
I can't comment on postal deliveries etc, but will comment again on service. CW have managed to get in my Chris Christensen slicker brushes, especially ordering them in from US for me. Got a couple of them today at a really good price, and they have told me that they have had quite a few enquiries for these brushes and will be stocking them. So if you want some give them a call. Lindy hates being brushed but I tried her with the CC's today and she was quite relaxed about it - a first. Will give them a better go tomorrow, but so far they seem great and very nice to hold and use. Also they got me in some great grooming loops which I had been looking for for a while. They are also bringing in a supply of Laube clippers with the clipper vac attachment, so am waiting to try out the clippers then hopefully buy them. Michelle was very helpful in explaining to me all that I needed to know about them. So all in all and big and a thumbs up to them today.

Re: Clipper World
michelle called me earlier in the week and we had a chat. She sent me an email with catalogue and price list, and wouldnt you know it ,i cant open them on my Mac! just waiting for paper copies now.
The CC brushes have been available from Pet Network for ages .Have a look and see who's doing the best deals.I know PN is often expensive, but they do stock neat stuff that others dont. I cant go past the incredible silver LesPooch myself,it even blows all my other LesPooch out of the grooming room!

Re: Clipper World
I have found the girls down there to be very helpful. I email my orders through; they send back an invoice via email; pay it then it turns up on my door step within a couple of days. I have found there prices to be the best around, and they have ordered in special products for me. They also donated stock for a dog wash I did for the Royal Children's Hospital Appeal. Correct me if I am wrong, but not to many companies are willing to hand out donations without any recognition whatsoever. I have also had my driers, clippers, blades etc... serviced by them and they have not screwed me one little bit and the quality of there service department has been outstanding. I get my goods back efficiently and more importantly lasting longer than my previous service man (who shall remain nameless). I was quoted upwards of $250- to service my stand dryer, and they did it for $100- I can only praise them

Great service from Clipper World
I run a large grooming shop near the ACT, I tried the local sharpener with no luck. I finally got onto Clipper World, their sharpening, and turn around time is so good/fast.
I think the staff at CW had one of the family members with health issues.
So I think they have a great excuse for not catering to some peoples whims instantly, we would find it difficult ourselves.
I can only give CW the greats thank you for keeping my grooming shop running at full speed.
Bless you girls down there."webtutor"

Re: Clipper World
They really do try v hard. I spoke to Ann today about some order problems and she explained the family issues that have created problems with running the business at optimum and lead to mistakes with orders. I explained to her that frustration with order problems sometimes leads me to being frustrated with their processes and that I understand how the personal issues must have been difficult and had a negative impact. Hands down they are my cheapest supplier so I will continue with them as they will try for me when other suppliers will only order according to catalogue and don't go the extra mile. It is frustrating sometimes as I can see communication between the staff isn't perfect but they still are worth using as they will try when others wont. Plus they have some products that I can't source elsewhere like the Grimenator, which I love!

Re: Clipper World
Just had to add a post as they went out of their way to help me this week.
I had my dryer motor burn out at the start of a busy week and had a new Double K dryer arrive by the end of the next day - now that's service!
