Possible Cat Groomer workshops.... Empty Possible Cat Groomer workshops....

Post by Admin Thu Mar 04, 2010 6:24 pm

who else got the email today ?? I am too retarded to work out how to post the info here. Can someone else do it??
I responded that although i think its an excellent opportunity, that my buck has to stop somewhere ,and AusGroom will be my only industry event this year.
It does seem we are being flooded with choices lately. I hope we have enough groomers with enough dollars to go around scratch

If we can get enough interest & to provide ongoing & additiional education for
Australian groomers, PIAAA will present one of the industry’s most renowned
cat groomer specialists....

Danelle German, CFMG, CFCG, ow wned CFA’s Bara Cattery from 1999-2005. During g that time she produced and

showed many National and Regional aw ward winning Persian’s, including CFA’s 3rd Best Cat in Premiership in 2005.
Danelle is a member of Foothills Felines s Cat Club, serving as President and Show Managger for a number of years. In
2005, she retired from showing to focus oon her feline-exclusive spa and resort, The Catty Shack, Ltd., which is located

in South Carolina and boasts an ever-growing clientele of well over 2000.
Danelle has authored the Ultimate Cat t Groomer Encyclopedia as well as several article es for a variety of grooming
publications. She is also the author of certification study guides for cat groomers and d has written updated cat

grooming study material for other asso ociations. Danelle has appeared on Animal Plane et’s Cats 101 and has been

interviewed and filmed numerous times f for Discovery Channel, local TV stations, Kittens UUSA and other media. She is
the winner of the first Gr roomers Got Talent competition held at Groom Exxpo in 2009.
Speaking regularly on all topics related d to cat grooming and behavior, Danelle is a true ppioneer in the field of feline

grooming. Her lectures and training materials can found around the world. She is the founder of the National Cat

Groomers Institute of America, Inc. She e currently serves as President and Certifier/Instruuctor of the NCGIA and is a member of Wahl’s X-Treme Groom Tea am. Along with her husband, Michael, she is the in nventor and patent holder of the Catty Shack Vac™ drying system.

So, our question to you

is..... would you attend a 2-3 d
day workshop on

cat gr rooming? (Sydney -time tbc)

This course will be CERTIFI IED and ENDORSED by the Pet Indu ustry Association of
Australia so would be a fan ntastic accolade for you to market to your customers,
both present and future!

I got the email. Yet again it is over east!! I wish I could go to everything that is happening over there this year but can't afford it. Kinda have to support me and my husband who is studying Medicine at the moment. But hey, I'll be able to go to heaps of things once he has finished. Just wish more things would come to good ol WA!! Sad

Yes, Danelle got a going on. I roomed with her a few years back. Very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I took a mini session but still a bit awkward with kitties. Yeah I'll take a dog bite any day. Take the course if you get cats. You can increase your fee.

Jonna, you probably need to go to Intergroom and take more classes so you don't get kilt by some kitty Very Happy
