A bit sad here...5th puppy didn't make it....wee boy I've named Ebony. I tried mouth to mouth and cardiac resusitation but he was very tiny and didn't have any muscle tone......Lily tried but seemed to know he wasn't viable. We both tried...RIP Ebony.....

On a better note she is nursing 9 healthy looking puppies. 2 Black girls, 2 white girls, 2 white boys and 3 black boys. So far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Merrly.....sorry about sweet Ebony but glad you have 9 healthy babes....Very exciting, and a lovely mix and choice in the colours....The whites are stunning as babies...I'm off to a show tonite with Iris ....hope to look at group 5 and see if there are any greyhounds showing...Looks like rain but ....what the heck!!! cheers and good luck with your brood and look forward to the many pics... Louis is allowed to enter the whelping box and lick the puppies and is "The Bodyguard". Wild Child and Laura get a growling Rolling Eyes

Has anyone else experienced a male dog caring for a litter? I have to prise him away and then he just lays down as close as he is able, as in the picture. I'm thinking puppy named Whitney!

You've probably worked out that I'm a worrier.

Why why do I breed? I guess because Lily produces lovely babies that go to grateful homes.....and I get to see them! Like Jet, who has the life of Riley, with Brooke and her adorable family.
