Re: Our pet pictures
very cute Char, does Bimbo enjoy being in the carrier? Mingo does if there are lots of people around

Re: Our pet pictures
LOL poor Bambi! We all call her Bimbo at home because she's such a stereotypical blonde! Haha. That's not a real pet carrier, just my housemate's satchel that she happens to fit into. She doesn't seem to mind it really, she can't walk very far so we pop her into the bag when she's tired. She's still a little scared of strangers but she's become very confident compared to when we first got her (she'd sit in the corner with her mouth hanging open, looking terrified, poor little girl).lorie wrote:very cute Char, does Bimbo enjoy being in the carrier? Re: Our pet pictures
there's alot of diff ones out there....
i am not for it but for the older dogs that still want to go for a walk or something i guess it's the only way even though it makes the owner look ridiculous.....pushing a doggy stroller or carrying them in a sling.
I hope i don't have to do that with mine soon , he does love riding in a stroller though.
I tried it before when I worked in a shop that sell them, he had an expression on his face like he thinks he's so cool getting push around like that. No joke. When I run with it down the aisles he's like WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and my co-workers were like, "What are you doing???"

I confess!
I actually bought a thing like that years ago! (the first one)
I don't know why,Mingo was a pup and I did take her places, plus, I was slap happy, i had so much money to spend that year!
I never put Mingo in it but, I have used it a few times to do legs on pancake dogs tho.

Re: Our pet pictures
For an elderly or ill dog they'd be great, maybe not with their poor little legs hanging out though. I did make a sling to take my little poodle with me on my horse after he was attacked by a dog while he was following me. My first Standard Poodle saved his life but she had to have stitches too.

Re: Our pet pictures
I have a front (back)pack but Mingo's legs do not stick out. She is more than happy to get in it when we go the the street fest and it gets crowded, it's comfy too.

Re: Our pet pictures
I guess if the cap fits wear it! I'd happily put up with comments if my beloved dog/s were happy and with me. Have to say it's abit harder with big dogs.....

Brooke's gang with my gang
I love this photo. Two of Brooke's are looking out the window with two of mine. The obvious stand out is Holly, the Weimeraner, who is the sweetest animal to draw breath. Next to Holly is Jet, next left my boy Louis, then Lily, feeling a bit precious as probably pregnant.
Then there's Morrie, who seemingly needs the biggest sheepskin on the planet to be comfortable
They all had meaty bones today and not a single argument.
