Miss Chanelle is indeed a beautiful girl. I think my lawn is "Poodle trashed beyond repair"......

Re: Our pet pictures
Yeah I think mine is poodle trashed too. When Jasper and Chanelle start running and playing together, if its dry they have it like a dust pit, if its wet they have it like a mud pit.
I had a look at Sir Walter, but I think I might try artificial grass. We have ant hills everywhere here, when we have wet weather they all build up their little ant nests, and then Jazzie and Chanelle go running through them.

Re: Our pet pictures
Same story Destiny, but I'm resorting to pavers when weather is very dry or wet. Think I'll pave between the existing dwelling and the addition, then fence the area. They run free most of the time, but sometimes it's soooooo much work it would be nice to let them out and have them stay clean (for a day or two?) Artificial sounds great but what about poos and pees?

Re: Our pet pictures
That was my first thought with the artificial grass, [what about the pees and poos}. My friend has it, and they just hose it off or scoop it up. It always looks clean, and she is really fussy and clean. I was going to do pavers out the back, its a bigger area, but I think artificial grass might be cheaper, not sure. But the thing that has changed my mind from pavers to grass is that the pavers get hot in summer, and the ant hills can still come up in between pavers. The Sir Walter grass looks good, but Im concerned about the grub that eats it. I have enough things that I have to spray now. Apparently there is all different types of artificial grass, but I haven`t yet got off my butt to go look at it.

Re: Our pet pictures
Well I did it! I got off my butt and went and had a look at it at Bunnings. There is 4 different thickneses of the artificial grasses, the 3rd and 4th longest are around $59 and $79 a metre, and it is 1.2 metre wide. There is a 7 year guarantee.

Re: Our pet pictures
Ouch! too expensive for me....I've got old pavers I can use so that will be my cheapest option....but the artificial grass would be lovely.
