Capstar in Woolies $15 odd dollars for medium to large animals. Can be cut into quarters for small dogs.... Do not use if dog is on Proban so u have to discuss options, details with owners prior to clipping. I go through all this with new clients. If there is a problem with fleas I charge an extra $5 for the capstar and ask that they buy it and use before coming next time.....its not fair to your regular "clean"clients . The offending dog is separated for each procedure and kept in a sepaarate holding crate away from others.......Then surfaces, crates etc sprayed and cleaned. I think here in Qld its just a routine thing now but I usually only have a prob. with new some new dogs. Owners are quite happy to get into the frontline, reg. shampoo. routine If they are persistently bad I turn them away...Again, its not fair to your "good " clients.I've done that a few times now...not many compared to those interested in doing the right thing for their dog. Very Happy Very Happy
