Colourful Scotland

We have this little guide , I thought might show you that we do colouring over here sometimes.

Creative Colours

1~ Make sure your dog is clean and all grooming/clipping is completed.
2-Using belly straps, etc. as needed, make sure they are (comfortably) positioned so they wont be
jumping around, wiggling etc.. if you have a wiggler.. good luck :p
3~Select your blo-pen colours and make sure they're ready to use & in reach.
You do not want to be trying to get them sorted after youve started colouring.
4~ figure out exzactly where you want your stencil & position it.
5~Using one hand to hold the stencil in place, start with the outline. the stencil will create a sharp edge &
the colour will soften on the inside edge.
6~ If using a large stencil try to do one whole side first (you can see where I used 2 colours to create
the dolphin outline, I did the Purple first so if the stencil slipped it was easy to re-position it)
7~ create all your outlines & essential (eyes for instance, you dont want to try repositioning them
later cause theyre in the wrong place.



8~ Start filling in your darker colours, Shading, etc. anything you want to stand out.
9~Fill in the rest of the colours, & make sure stuff like eyes, stand out, if not.. use black or another darker
colour to create contrast.
10~Add any background bits to compleate the picture, in this case ive added waves & sea spray effect



11~leave to sit for a few minutes
12~ Take a paper towel and press flat against the tatoo, this will absorb excess ink & help it to dry faster.
repeat a few times as needed.
13 You can apply a light spray of hairspray to help seal it if it seems to be rubbing off still.
( I like a glitter spray, adds a nice touch.)
