Re: got my silver les poochs brush
I am guessing that I must be needing one, I do prefer the single brushes to the doubles, but I almost always use my gold when I am finishing. I do need to order a CC pin brush for the poodles.

I use my CC pin brush for almost all my finishing. Guess I need to buy a gold one. I like the singles better too.

Tammy. What is it about the brush that makes it your all time favourite?

Re: got my silver les poochs brush
well.....as much as i loved all the LP brushes, when i got hold of the silver,i found it SO good at ALL tasks ,that i never actually picked up ANY of the others again!
i like it because it does a great job ,gently on the dog,and gently on the coat. A brush i can demat matted coats with ease ,and then use it on my show dog with confidence.you can feel the difference.no ripping and tearing the coat or hair shaft, which reduces coat damage and reduces re-tangling .Not long ago i picked up an old Lawrence slicker and it was like rubbing coarse sandpaper into the coat! it just felt WRONG compared to the LP.
I know there are groomers that dont like them, and i think that is because you have to use a slightly different method with the LP.you cant wrack it sideways through a coat like i see some do with a slicker. You sort of pat & pull with the LP .Takes a little getting used to. JMO

Re: got my silver les poochs brush
Hi Tammy, I'm as interested as DoggyDoos but I couldn't find the combs on their website either. Do you have to ring or can you order on-line? Would you recommend the large comb for Standards?

Re: got my silver les poochs brush
I love love love love love my red matt zapper. Had a matted cocker, would of usually taken an hour to brush those matts out. It took 5 mins! lol
already paid for itself.
I want to get one to fluff dry with which would you recommend for the best puffy dog result?
