Post by Groomers Paradise Mon Apr 12, 2010 3:29 pm

Hello Everyone.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Bobby-lee Lloyd and I'm new to the forum. I look forward to reading comments and grooming suggestions made available through the Australian Pet Groomer Forum.

I specialize in Isle Of Dogs Canine Grooming System. Some of you may be familiar with these amazing products, but some may not.

Isle of Dogs has created a canine grooming system that recognizes and addresses each dog's uniqueness. The two key ingredients are cold-pressed oil called Evening Primrose Oil, and the other is Royal Jelly. The exciting new ingredient they have recently included is Hibiscus sabdariffa. The solutions were based on a unique emulsion that suspended unusually high levels of natural oils in water-based products. This formula resulted in a smoother, shinier, and healthier coat for all dogs, and is the primary innovation behind the Isle of Dogs system.

Isle Of Dogs have a extensive range of products. Being Coature, Vanity Series, Salon Elements, Everyday and NaturaLuxry.

The Salon Elements collection was developed by a renowned Master Groomer who designed it specifically for stylists whose standards equal those of champion handlers, competitors and judges. Featuring performance-driven ingredients in high functionality formulas, blended at their elemental level, our Salon Elements products are designed to be customized to each coat type, for ultimate health and beauty benefits. Available exclusively to professional groomers and stylists. The product range consists of 3 Shampoo's - Stay (Clean), Sit (Still), Stand (Up). They have 2 Conditioners - 2 Build and 2 Heal. And they have 2 grooming sprays 4 Style and 4 Control. If you would like any additional information regarding the Salon Elements Range you can email me at groomersparadise@hotmail.com I have a full training manual available which list every indredient and all the dilution rates.

If you would like any additional information regarding the Isle Of Dogs canine grooming system you can send me an email, or I have a website with an on line store available. There is a lot of great information regarding the products, and they have some grooming tips also. www.groomersparadise.com

I look forward to talking to everyone within this forum.
Best Regards
Bobby-lee Lloyd

Thanks for joining us Bobby-lee .

I would like to say that i have tried several products in the Isle Of Dogs range, and have been impressed by them all. They are high quality, smell divine, feel extremely indulgent to use , are economical .... but best of all they GET RESULTS !
Isle Of Dogs works as it says it will, at the dilution is says it will. I worked out that i can wash 70-80 small dogs per gallon of Salon Elements shampoos. You do the sums .Its not as expensive as you'd think. Very Happy

And the free shipping on orders over $200 saves me plenty . It makes IOD as affordable/ economical as some lower quality products that i have to pay big $'s for shipping on.

whether pet dogs or show dogs..... Isle Of Dogs is awesome stuff.

Hi Guys.

I'm so glad so many of you have sampled the products and are happy with the results.

If any of you would like any additional information, please dont hesitate to ask. I have done extensive training for Isle Of Dogs products and know them inside and out. Weather it be Show dogs to everyday pets, I'm happy to help any way I can. The products are really great and they have an extensive range of "different types" of products to suit everyone's individual needs, and everyone's individual "coat" needs.

Thanks for letting me share

Best Regards
Bobby-lee

I still use my LP Med Huskyman. Well mostly because I have some!
Have a question though. How are the color revivng shampoos? Also the vet quality shampoo? I really hate to buy anything, very limited on space and my customer base is so up and down. I do like the Everyday dog line and hope to make space to carry some of that. I just wish IOD did trade shows. Yes, shipping is supersonic.

I bought a litre each of the vet grade EPO shampoo, and the Royal Jelly shampoo before they became available here . They are seriously wow products. So luxurious and they smell divine.

I too have wondered about the colour shampoos, esp. the whitening. Seeing as how there is no whitening shampoo in the salon range, and most groomers seem to feel the need to have a whitening on hand. But for the price ( approx $120/ gallon) of the White EPO in the coature range makes it a little too pricey for every day salon use (imo anyway!) , i would have to make it an add on , which out here in 'El Cheapo ville' would mean it would never get used, even if i only charged a few $$'s extra.
So...a question for Bobby-lee......will we ever see a whitening &/or colour range in the Salon Elements line??

Hi Guys

Tammy I'm so glad that you have received your order so quickly. My aim is to ship orders straight away so my customers dont have to wait a week + to received there order. So I'm very happy that is working great.

Now for your question regarding colored enhancing shampoos in the Salon Elements. Unfortunately the answer is no. They offer the Coature range for that purpose. I know they are more expansive but these products are a "super" product. They can be diluted 10:1. The Coature range is what I use on my show dogs and I have found that I use half the amount of Isle Of Dogs compared to my previous shampoos and conditioners. They lather up really easily and are a lovely product. They are available in Gallon size bottles and they range in price from $91.00 - $137.65 - this is for the Veterinary Grade Evening Primrose Oil Shampoo. This is great for dogs with irritated skin, dry flaky skin, hot spots, and itchy skin. This product has the highest concentration of essential fatty acid-rich Evening Primrose Oil available in any pet or human shampoo. It has 3% pure cold pressed Evening Primrose Oil so you are getting it at it's purest and most richest form and is worth every penny. I have had people buy this from me for the first time, because they have had a dog with irritated skin, and I have had them come back and buy it in larger bottles so it does really help. The colored enhancing shampoo are $118.80 per gallon.

Glad to be of assistance
Best Wishes
Bobby-lee

Thats a shame Bobby-lee, as i know for certain a 'salon' priced whitening shampoo in the Salon Elements range would sell out faster than a Banana Boat stall at Bondi on a hot summers day !

oh and can i add that the little IOD spray bottles are fab. They do spray a true 'mist' so that you dont waste or overuse the products, and they are marked for easy mixing/diluting.
Also nice to get pumps with your bottles Very Happy

It is a shame. I know.....And totally agree with you about them selling very quickly LOL Banana Boat.............

Glad you like the spray bottles, they are really good quality and strong, not flimsy like other spray bottles I have used in the past, where they stop spraying after a few uses. And very handy having pumps included with the shampoo's and conditioners.

I also love the spray bottles but did break a few sprayers. I am such a clutz. I only use Coature on my Jap Chin. Love it but I also live in el cheapo USA where there are dozens of groomers close by so I cannot do that line. I would also do this as an add on. I already charge more for people who want the Salon line but I haven't gotten any new clients fo that. People are so cheap here, lots of price shoppers and they get slack jawed when I give them mine. Whatever.
