Only for people?
Just wondering if this was just for people food? Not that I have any dog recipes, but I'm sure some of you do.

Re: Only for people?
I have a great recipie for those who want natural treats for their dogs - or clients dogs. Very easy. If you show - the dogs love it as bait
500g calves liver
1 egg
Either garlic salt/ crushed garlic or that garlic in bottles - as much as you like
Flour
Put livers in processor and purverise down - add egg. Then add flour by the spoonful until mixture is like soft cookie dough. Turn into an oiled large pan sprinkled with flour. Have it about 1cm thick. Cook around 45 mins at 200 deg. It all depends upon how hard you want it. I tend to cook it up then cut in strips, then dice those strips up and place back in the warm oven to dry out - WARNING - smells pretty bad during the process. I then freeze it in small bags. Will keep for a week or so on its own

Re: Only for people?
My mum used to make these liver treats, for bait for her show dogs. The dogs absolutley love it!!
....but when she cooked a batch, the house smelled like there were corpses rotting under the floorboards!!

Re: Only for people?
You are right - but doing it in a food processor and a fan force oven - reduses the smell by half.
