Hi all,

I have previous grooming experience and I am also a trainer. When I was grooming, I found it was very frustrating that I was unable to find quality and reliable advice on dealing with difficult dogs on the table. I have spent many of my grooming hours focusing on this problem and I am confident that I have a wealth of information on how to make grooming as stress free as possible for the dogs, and then in turn the groomer. I am thinking if there is enough interest, I could write up a short course, combined with onsite practical support, which I suspect could be covered in one day. I live in Western Sydney, so this would be for salons or mobiles in the Sydney area. If there is enough interest, I will start something up. Let me know your thoughts!

I am in Melbourne, so not of interest to me, but...

If you work out a basic course outline and post it here that would help people decide if it is going to add to their skills

Just a bullet list of topics covered such as
Reading body language and behaviour.
When to be assertive, when to use calming approach
Desensitising to trigger factors
Etc

You will likely also get some feedback on additional topics people would like covered.

In principle  it sounds like it would be good.

If you do craft a course, you might also contract major franchise groups and offer it to their franchisees.
