Pet First aid
I have been thinking about doing a pet first aid course for a while now so I could be better equipped for accidents and have the certificate on my wall. Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in doing the course as well because from what I have seen you can organise group sessions.
I am still searching for a decent course but at least this way when I enquire I can enquire for a group. It will be held in Melbourne but those interstate are welcome if they are here.

Dont worry Sarah i will organise one where you can go. their is actually two people who run courses near you but i have to enquire a bit more to see how good they are.
For those who want to go i plan to make it on a sunday or monday assuming most have one of those days off. so when you leave a response just let me know what day is best for you and i will organise it on the majority

Re: Pet First aid
Just a progress report
The first aid course will be held in September it just depends on numbers if we can do a private session or join one that’s already running then. The max amount of people for the class is 12
It’s through bark Academy here is their website if you would like to check it out http://www.dogcourse.com.au/index.html
Its $ 92.50 per person but she said if we have a large group we can get a discount. class will start at 9am-1.30pm
At the end we will receive a certificate of participation. She said they are looking into making the course accredited so I have asked her if that happens can we change our certificate at no extra cost. Just waiting for a response.
It will defiantly fall on a Sunday regardless if it’s a open or private session. So far I know both Sarah’s are coming and Sarah you said you have two more that are joining us. that means their is 7 spots open to whoever would like to come, so if more would like to join in please let me know so I can better organise the exact date.

Re: Pet First aid
Hey guys sorry about the delay on the course. I have actually decided to change to someone else because the previous people i have been dealing with been a bit difficult and not answering my emails properly.
Unfortunately this one is a little bit more expensive they charge $117 per person but they are more reliable and I think I prefer to pay a little bit extra for reliability. I have just emailed her for a date and will let you guys know as soon as possible. Sorry again for the delay guys

Re: Pet First aid
Ok for those who are wanting to do the pet first aid course we can book it on the 16th of september or the 30th. their is a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 16 so their are heaps of places available for those who like to come. as i said above its $117 for the course so just let me know which date suits you best i was thinking the 30th so it gives more time for those who have to rearrange their time table.
here is the website if you want to know more about this one www.doggyandmoggy.com.au

Re: Pet First aid
Hi George.
A late introduction to you. I'm Sarah and I have a mobile grooming service NW Melbourne.
This course runs weekly in various locations. Kepala Pet Resort at Diggers Rest seems to have this a few times a year. Hope you guys are enjoying your training. PM me if you'd like to experience a day as a mobile groomer.

Re: Pet First aid
Dear Sarah, thanks a lot that is great my wife and myself are both very keen and like to join you for a day as a mobile groomer. We are both currently still attending our professional pet grooming course basic stage. Will complete the course around mid Nov. Wondering if late Nov or early Dec would work for you ? Will contact you sometime in Nov to arrange day and time. Looking forward. Thanks again.
We are doing very well and enjoy the course we are into our sixth lesson. It is a very enjoyable course and there are so much to learn.
A busy week for us and had not the chance to look into the first aid course but will for sure look into it this weekend.
Thanks again and have a great day and week.
