Re: "Bows by Donna"
Donna I'm looking for someone to make me tiny bows to put in ears. I mean tiny, delicate bows, not the usual size cause I personally think they look a bit too big. I don't even know if it's feasible, but any takers?

Re: "Bows by Donna"
The shipping would kill me.
Could you post some pics?
My bowing is horrid. I always purchase them.

Re: "Bows by Donna"
Thx for you enquiries girls
Lisa,
Do you have a pic of a dog with the bows in so i can judge the size.... the process for making is the same just the width of the ribbon changes..I could do this for you but would need to know how small you wanna go see sample in pic
and Jonna,
I can make enquiries re postage if you like and get back to you..Pictures are available via email as i have created a pdf file to send to anyone interested
This is just a sneak preview
These are the plain groomers bows... (I made a couple of smaller ones for you to compare Lisa the red one is the standard size)
These are a very small selection of the fancy bows

Re: "Bows by Donna"
Aren't you a honey, making small ones just for me. From the look of the photo, that's definitiely an improvement. I'm thinking half the size of standard bows (even smaller than your photo) with narrower ribbon also. If you're prepared to make me some in matching pairs, i would just buy them anyway as no-one else seems to do tiny bows.

Re: "Bows by Donna"
Silly question! Can anyone tell me how to put bows in dogs hair. I have never been shown, and can't find instructions in any of the books that I have on dog grooming.
Cheers

Re: "Bows by Donna"
Making the bows is much easier than attaching them i am convinced...So as you raised the subject Trish i did the usual and consulted my friend Google... lol ..... The following are a couple of links that she found for me...Pretty cool actually!!

Re: "Bows by Donna"
1) attach bow to whatever those things are called
2) wrap rubber band around twice
3) attach bow to a bit of hair
4) push rubber bands down which will create a little loop of hair (easy to take off)
5) voila!

Good for you. I couldn't for the life of me think of the name of the forceps, but they're also called something else and that name still eludes me!
I'll let you know when i think of it, don't you hate it when those things bug you until you remember!
