Is there an annual fee paid in order to call yourself a master groomer?

I think if you are looking at the benifits then the cost must be considered

I guess that I will be even more brave and suggest that you first need to pass the assessment criteria to gain certification before considering the potential annual cost.

To the best of my knowledge there are only 21 or so internationally
Certified Master Groomers here in AUS. You should be able to find them
on the PIAA website http://www.piaa.net.au. Certification information can be found here http://www.ipgicmg.com which has a wealth of information.

I’m trying to find out is this just another American qualification system run by a private business as a money making scheme. The US has these qualifications in other industries that are not endorse or controlled by any authority, and they are set up solely as businesses to generate money. If you gain a PhD here you call yourself a Doctor and it remains with you for life; you don’t pay annual fees to maintain that status.
I recognise the skill of the people here with the Master Groomer certification but I think if people without it are looked down upon as unqualified it is a sad day.
