Poodle in the house again
last year I lost my last old Poodle Rosie at nearly 12yrs and it has been difficult without a poodle in the house.Last weekend I was judging in Perth and a fellow judge/poodle breeder and I were chatting about the dogs. Anyhow, I am a great believer in Fate, on the Monday she rang and left a msg to say that a breeder we know has one last silver poodle boy left, great grandson of my little Rosie and a greatgreatgrandson of my Champion River, so I told her to hold him for me, it had been worth the wait, he was mine, without seeing him. I got in from work that day and my old Champion Saint Kitty had unexpectedly passed away, I know quick is always the best way to go, but it was so unexpected that it has devastated me, we had been through so much together. My daughter reminded me that it has been more than 20years since I have had only had 3 Saints in the house, its just getting too quiet. Anyhow, its funny how things turn out, it was all meant to be. This is Pheonix, I pick him up on Thursday.

OMG I am in love. It was truely meant to be. Very happy for both of you. After all, he already is family. He is so cute!!! I wish I had one that would stay that cute and little forever.

Re: Poodle in the house again
Hey Susanne firstly sorry for your loss..It is never easy to lose a friend but unexpectedly seems so much harder...As for your new puppy well i believe God sent him to you knowing what was going to be...Prayers that this little man can help to heal that part of your heart that now aches for your dearly beloved Kitty..She cannot be replaced but little Pheonix can help to lessen that emptied feeling...God Bless

Susanne, sorry to hear of your losses and I'm sure Phoenix will help to lessen the pain. Fate....for sure He was meant for you at this very time and a bonus that you know his "family" already!!! Enjoy the memories and especially enjoy your new baby....

So sorry for the loss of your Saint Kitty and so glad you have a little angel coming to add new joy - what a gorgeous face and huge mop of hair.

Susanne. Sorry that you lost Saint Kitty, it is always hard when they go, it just leaves such an empty space in your heart.
Phoenix is just the most gorgeous little man, and I am sure that he will bring you much happiness. Keep us updated with pics.

Congrats on getting little Phoenix. This thread must have started while I was off line, so, sorry for your losses too. It does seem like fate had a hand in things.
