new member from brisbane.
Hi everybody,
I became a groomer almost two years ago. I changed careers completely and was soooo lucky that Aunty Marg took a huge risk on me. She trained me from scratch and is a fantastic boss. She took me to the ausgroom conference last year and is endlessly supportive. I love my work and feel I am in completely the right profession. Still learning (does it ever stop???) and am loving this forum - so much more friendly and supportive than other dog forums I have used.
I have four fluffy cross breed dogs who are wonderful and look forward to posting pics up soon.

Re: new member from brisbane.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Yep my name is Fiona. Usually think of great user names after the fact so decided to keep it simple this time round.
May take me some time to work out how to post pics because I am not the most technically minded (just ask Aunty Marg ) - brings to mind the time I used the high pressure dryer to blow hair out of my cup of tea!!!!! Lets just say the salon walls turned a different colour.
Would be great to have a brissie meet. Am really enjoying reading the posts and aadmiring the grooming pics.
