Introduction
Hi newbie from Jimboomba Qld,
So happy to come across this forum and how helpful you all are. Just by chance my neighbour got me a job in a dog kennel four years ago, working for her friend, I hadn't been around dogs for 20 years. She trained me to groom and I absolutely luv it. Decided to become a mobile groomer, just recently got my trailer, some equipment. Looking forward to taking the next step and getting myself out there, big step also bit scary never been in business before but at the same time exciting!

Hi there. Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn and share ideas. My name is Trish and I operate a mobile grooming franchise in the south east of Melbourne. Have been grooming for nearly 2 years now, and love working for myself. Look forward to hearing more from you.

OMG! You have hens!!!!!! I love my chickens! Have 6 hens and 3 peeps. Also 2 cockerels and, if I ever can get a pic since I don't have a camera.....a bantaam rooster. His name is Lenny and the 2 young cockerels are Abbott and Costello. Costello, naturally is friendlier. Yay, someone to talk chickens to! You have a wonderful clan!

Luv your sense of humour coatcutter!!! Its as bizarre as mine, we must be soul mates.
My gorgeous rooster man is called Hercules, cos he hurls himself aggressively at anything that looks like a threat, his colours are beautiful and I luv the way he struts like a peacock lol
Have to say my hens are spoiled, they come running up when they see me (I think its for the food lol and not cos they adore me)

I love jens also. We used to have 2 hens in our suburban backyard, but the 2 dogs got into their pen and maulled them to death.
Needless to say the dogs were in a huge amount of trouble. We have not got any more hens since then, as i wanted to make sure that we had a secure, dog-proof pen before we get anymore.
