I'm Andie from Melbourne. I have a grooming business at home and been grooming 20yrs and dog showing since i was a kid.

I'm sure you will enjoy this extremely friendly, nutty forum.

There are lots of pekes... and now, thanks to your husband, lots of ANDIES!!! (well about 3 i think)

Have fun!! Very Happy

Hi Hayley, I've already said 'hello' in another couple of threads but thought I would make it official here. I LOVE your Peke, and I'm sure you're laughing at how short my Daisy is! Secretly I would love to grow her hair back in but i can't get her longer than a yellow comb because of the heat here. I am trying again now, last year I clipped her off with a 7 at the start of April, (oh, different seasons, half way through autumn) so i only got her growing back for a few months. This time I have started growing her back at the start of Feb, so we'll see how we go this time. That long fur is high maintenance but it looks stunning doesn't it. So my name's Lisa - AKA Daisy's mum, I live in the Western part of Oz in an isolated gold mining town where there's LOTS of red dirt, bush and friendly people! I work from home and LOVE it! Only been going not quite a year, so still learning HEAPS all the time, wish I could just wind that clock 10 years forward so i could be further along than where I am now, but all in good time I'm sure.
Welcome to the forum, great to have more experienced people and from a novice like me, I really really appreciate photos as I learn more from 'seeing' things than 'reading' things.

Lisa.

Hi Hayley and a big welcome.

I also groom from home in Melbourne and just love my job (getting paid for doing what you do is a huge bonus). You will love this forum it is very friendly with heaps of helpful people around to give advice and support. We all banded together for the bush fires, so complete strangers have become friends. What part of the UK do you come from? I am originally from Penzance, Cornwall, but have been out here for 35 years now and love it.

Hey there Hayley

Welcome to our friendly band of groomers. Lots to see and learn and plenty of kind and experienced people to bounce ideas off.

I'm Barb from country Victoria, not quite 2 years as a paid groomer, with a brood of 5 pups who love me to bits and 2 teenagers who often don't lol!

Enjoy! cheers
