hi i am new

Post  spaniel_lover on Fri Apr 10, 2009 7:44 am

Hi I an so glad that i found a australian site about grooming,I have bean grooming dogs for about 18 months now I was working in a shop but had to take time off due to family problems (death in family my son in law) called them back to say I was ready to go back to work but they had no shifts for me (found out later I was not the only adult they let go) so that was the end of that but I was able to help a friend while all of this was going on I learnt more from her then I did the cm groomer I worked with so now I am doing friends dogs

I loved my job and I understand why they replaced me but it was my job
But now I don’t have to fight a dog that doesn’t wont to be there.

I have 3 dogs all cocker spaniels 1 blue roan and tan (desexed pet) 2 blue roans that I show well I try to show 1 has done something to the feathering on her back legs (and you cant hide it and she is all legs and ears)and the other ones head is not the best but I will keep trying with her

Welcome to the Forum. Very Happy Very Happy

I'm Sarah and I have a Mobile business in Melb.
Started it 4 years ago and I've never been so busy. Love it. I've always had problems working for other people in the respect as they want me to be punctual and do my work but they can treat you anyway they want. No roster, no overtime, no penalties, ooops we didn't get your pays in on time, can't wear this, can't do that & the last company that threatened my job if I didn't sign a contract that deprived me of all my rights as an employee. Mad

Work for yourself............... This forum will be your saving grace. so much learning to be done here.

Good luck and Welcome once again............. Laughing
