Hey felow Spaniel owner (or is it owned by)

Aunty Marg from Brisbane. Welcome . I am only new in but addiced.
It seems like a great resource and a nice support network.

I have a salon with another groomer employee and a part time jnr .I have been grooming for over 6 years
I have a lovely spaniel black and tan boy. He is 11 mths
I groom three dogs that came from his mum and dad and they have exceptional personalities. When we lost one of our fur family 18mths ago I contacted the breeder and now we have our lad
I would love to breed with him but don;t intend to show and can't find a gal without having prizes under our arm.
I am keen to pass on this lovely personality and want to stick to his breed. He is registered with CCC
Does anyone have any advice

Thanks for the welcome and yes it is owned by cockers
i did an am cocker when i first started work she was lovely not a compliant from her she had infections in both ears you could smell it and about an inch of dried puss on her ears she just stood still let me bath & dry her not a complaint
I am in geelong

Aunty Marg as far as breeding your boy all i can say is to contact the breeder and let her know you would like to breed him and ask her to have a look at him and you mite have to get dna test done for progressive retinal atrophy and familial nephropathy unless he is from clear lines then only a parentage test

I agree with the previous comments, you need to contact the breeder, they will advise - wlcome all to the forum.

PS: One does not want to brag ahem, ahem. But my boy Dennis was Best Baby Puppy IN SHOW yesterday at one of the big Melbourne shows. Another Spaniel does good!!

I am more than happy to help with any showing issues. I often show my friend's Cockers - and have scored a few challenges - when I was supposed to be showing the one which they didn't want to win Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

After Easter i have a loooong break from the ring to do my studies - but I will be back
