WOW! Are you from SA originally? I am, we started going to dog shows about 1970, i was only 3yrs old! My mum worked with Wolfgang Schnitzer (dachies) for many years and it started from there.

I know Marie - she has had some wonderful springers - of the type and style I like. I don't think i am her favourite person though.

Woo hoo, how good is this. emoticons now working, subject matter appears as required - plus I have been able to add an Avatar. This is my girl Janelle, I plan to use this pic as part of my logo - thoughts?
I was inspired by the Bichon on the grooming chair I have seen used regularly. I tried curlers in the ears (was not intending to copy you Andie) but it was not going to happen.
Has anyone tried the wonderful picnik site for editing photos - it is the best. You can get THE most bizarre effects. I used the doodle effect to remove the background to Janelle.

Hi, just gone into the picnik site it looks terrific. Did you buy the premium package or are you just using the free site? I presume that the cost per year is US$ and not A$. Also where did you get the doodle effect to remove the background. I have been trying for ages to get something so that I can write on photos. Thanks.

No I used the free stuff, from memory "doodle" is under effects - about half way down the options. If you can't find it - it took me a while - and I had to email them to ask how.
Let me know and will find the precises pathway. Don't do what I did, I edited my picture - with frustrating slow progress, then when I was nearly finished, I realised their was a zoom facility in the bottom RH corner - would have saved me heaps of time
It is a great site to experiment with - and if you don't like it it is so easy to undo.
Thanks guys for the positive comments on my wee picture.
