Hi Everyone.
Hi there everyone, My name is Nadean, i have been a K9 beautiction for 7 years now, i work for a small grooming bussness called Groomingdales & i have just to askd to become manager im pretty confident but abit worried at the same time mostly worried about dealing with uptight customers and customer complaints, So any advise would be greatly appreciated
I love my job i find great satisfaction in removing dead coat and knots between pads
i dunno i just feel better when i know the dog feels better, Im not real big on dieng, toe nail painting, or doing outrageous haircuts just for the owners satisfaction to think thay have a real life doll & humiliating there poor lil dogs, However i do understand it can be quite fun for events shows ect... & whos knows some dogs mite like the extra attention or should i say the onwers
I also think all automatic dog wash machines should be burnd as thay clearly cruelty to animals
How this invention was even allowed to be used will always trouble me
Anyways i have 2 babys of my own, BruZah a bullmastiff & Dakoda a RCCollie x, i love them both very much, some people think to much but if your not a dog person u just dont understand
I treat each dog that comes into my salon as if i would treat my own dogs
& I only wish to be the person my dogs see me as, A dog wags its tail with its heart
& No person is as fearsly loyal as a dog lover
Ok thats all from me for now, I look forward to chating, sharing advise & Stories.

Hi Nadean,
Welcome to our first Kiwi I believe. My name is Vanda and I own a home operated business in Melbourne. Have been grooming dogs for about 4 years now and love it. Great job satisfaction and normally great people and dogs to deal with. Wouldn't want to do anything different. Look forward to hearing from you. Vanda You sound like a true groomer - removing dead coat and knots between nails, great job satisfaction, yeah we all agree.

I didn't realise you were from the US, Lorie! (you don't write with accent? LOL!)
A kiwi is an odd little animal from new zealand, an odd little fruit from new zealand, or an odd little person from new zealand!

That is my gorgeous boy, "Thio" (pronounced Theo). The four letters of his name are the initials of his show name... The Heat Is On. Full name is CH. Karakush The Heat is On.
Sadly he passed away just 2 months ago, yesterday. He was almost 11. So I thought i'd put his picture up in memorial. (Hard to get over this special boy).
Anyway, don't want to be morbid. Thanks for asking about him, he was a dreamboat!!

Oh, sorry to hear that Andie. Did he ever have any pups, and if he did, did you get to keep one?

He has lots of pups and grandkids being shown all around the country. Unfortunately, I don't have one!
His breeder is the one who had the litters from him, not me. The breeders hhave frozen semen from him, so there may be more litters. So maybe in the future???
Sorry to hi-jack your thread Nadean!!
