Re: G'day and welcome to Australian Pet Groomer
Hi Tammy and Sarah and all new members. My name is Vanda and I have been grooming part time for about 5 years now. At one stage I was doing two jobs and went full time grooming 2 years ago and it was the best thing I have ever done. I am from "sunny" Melbourne, Carrum Downs and operate from my home. Not good enough driver to go mobile! I love my job, meeting new people both 2 and 4 four legged all the time, but at the same time I am my own boss. Work twice as hard as I used to but what the heck. Welcome to everyone lets make a go of this.

Oops, sort of intro'd myself in another thread. I'm Anthony, been grooming about 10 years, and my partner about 20ish years. We've just got a Salon in the Northern suburbs of Sydney. Hi and welcome Vanda and Sarah. Are any of you coming to Sydney for PetExpo? Well, someone won't be
LOL In case anyone doesn't know, Ms Admin - aka Tammy, is off to the states to that big 'ole grooming show - Hershey.
Sarah, didn't you have an Expo up your way recently? Did you do the Denys Lorrain (sp?) seminar? Would like to have done that myself.

Hi everybody. My name is Jodi, and I am from Nova Scotia Canada, but now reside in the States. I have been grooming for 18 years, and now only groom part-time. The rest of the time, I chase kids and do maid duty at my home. I am a competitive groomer, and would love some day to come to Oz ~ To me, that would be a trip of a lifetime
I am in the midst of preparing to do seminars, and I will be making a handstrip video in the near future.

Hi everyone. I am a groomer from Ontario Canada. I have been grooming for 24 yrs and love (almost) every minute of it. LOL I co-own a salon and am currently looking forward to going to Groom Expo in Hershey PA, meeting our "Admin" and then bringing her back here to Canada with me
