Welcome to you. Are you a dude or a dudette? Do you work from home or do you work in a shop? What are your favourite dogs to do? Oops, sounding like the 3rd degree. Really, just welcome, and look forward to hearing from you often

Dude is a Dude (Male)
I own a mobile dog washing/grooming franchise that covers the Gippsland area of Victoria. I have three dogs of my own. "Miss Kelly" 5yo Golden retriever, "Oscar" 3yo Maltese X Chiqwauwa (how to do you spell that
and "Gracie" a 1 1/2 yo Kelpie x Lab). Two of them come with me to work every day. Gracie and Oscar come with me to work, mainly to help calm the other dogs down, they see Oscar and Gracie sitting calmly there- so they tend to calm down
I am originally from NZ and come from a farming background- so i have ALWAYS been around dogs. They are my passion, and i love transforming them from hairy yetis into something better!.
The worst part of my job is coming across people that dont look after their dogs and get me to clean their dogs up prior to taking them to the vet as they are too embaressed to take them as they are. The worst ones i dob into the RSPCA, the others i charge them a fortune.
Thankfully the majority of my clients are dog lovers and their dogs are like a part of their family- as a re mine.

Whats the best advise you would give to someone entering the grooming business? What would you wish someone had of told you before you got into dog grooming?

introduction
Hi all, I have been grooming for 20+ years in Western Australia, I breed & Show Saint Bernards, have bred and shown Toy Poodles, and am a judge of the Utility breeds. Started grooming when my daughters were toddlers as extra income working at home, also worked in a couple of grooming salons before setting up a mobile grooming service in Perth for 10 years before doing the "tree change" thing to semi-retire 7 years ago
famous last words!! now own and run another mobile grooming service in the country servicing local towns in a radius of 150km+, and offering a complete pet care service. I love it!
Glad someone has set this up, and looking forward to chatting grooming with you.
